Natalie M. Koss is a litigation associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Koss actively litigates both commercial and employment cases. Her practice includes complex litigation of fidelity and surety matters. She represents insurers in subrogation claims in courts in numerous jurisdictions. Ms. Koss has successfully negotiated settlement agreements on behalf of corporate and individual clients. Ms. Koss also represents clients in business tort, employment disputes and copyright infringement cases. Ms. Koss has tried both bench and jury cases in federal and state courts. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Koss was an associate at Scheuermann and Menist, P.C. where she represented condominium and cooperative boards, property management companies and individual homeowners in land use and consumer disputes.

Following her graduation from American University Washington College of Law, Ms. Koss served as a law clerk to the Honorable A. Franklin Burgess, Jr. In the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Ms. Koss received the Dean’s Award for Professional Responsibility and Outstanding Student in a Clinical Program as a student lawyer for the Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Law Clinic. She also received her B.A. (Cum laude) and M.A. in Political Science from American University.

Ms. Koss is a member of the District of Columbia Bar where she serves as the Vice Chair of the Practice Management Service Committee. She is also a member of the Entertainment Law section of the D.C. Bar. She serves as the Chair of the Solo and Small Practice Committee of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia. Ms. Koss belongs to the American University Legal Professions Alumni Career Committee, and volunteers for the D.C. Legal Aid Society and Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts.
